drying
The Dusan Belt Dryer is extremely well suited for drying digestate, sewage sludge or similar biomass.
The Dusan dryer is a plate belt dryer. The dryer consists of long belts made of perforated steel plates that are linked to one other. The steel plates are cold-galvanized and powder-coated, to provide sufficient protection against aggressive substances. Because the belt is made of steel plates, it can carry a thick layer of product on top. A thick layer of product is important for drying efficiency.
Specific solutions for digestate and sludge
We have solutions for drying dewatered sludge, using a paste dosing head. The drying system can be integrated with air cleaning systems to provide a complete sludge processing solution.
We have dedicated design for drying liquid digestate. Digestate with 8-12% dry matter content can be dried directly in the system. Alternatives for drying separated digestate (ca. 25% dry matter content is also available.
